Talk by Tom Hodgkinson: The Importance of Being Merry

After the charity work, the merry-making. Come to E1′s fabulous Duke of Uke ukulele emporium on Friday 15 December at 6pm. Idler editor Tom Hodgkinson will be giving a talk entitled “The Importance of Being Merry: Freedom and the Meaning of Christmas”. We’ll also be giving away mulled wine and mince pies and singing your favourite carols. Ukuleles and copies of Tom’s book How To be Free will be on sale.
