Following the storming success of the Idler’s Academy at Port Eliot, we are pleased to announce that we are running a second term. This time we are guests at the Curiouser Gathering 2010: Back to Albion, a small music and crafts festival in the grounds of Berry Pomeroy Castle near Totnes in Devon. It takes place on 3-5 September.

“LATE NITE” FESTIVAL, Antwerp, Belgium, Wednesday 31 Oct to Friday 2 November
A three day festival devoted to Freedom and taking place at Antwerp’s Petrol Club. There will be music, poetry, debate and literature. Tom Hodgkinson will be giving talks and maybe even playing the ukulele.

The Idler is an annual, book-shaped magazine that campaigns against the work ethic. It was founded in 1993 by Tom Hodgkinson and his friend Gavin Pretor-Pinney.
