Join author and urban birder David Lindo for a Christmas birding trip through the streets of west London. You will meet David at the Idler Academy for a brief talk and a mince pie. He will then lead the group on a walk to spot birds. You will be amazed at what you will see. Expect Robins, Winter Thrushes and who knows, maybe even a Turkey…
Says David: “Anyone can become an Urban Birder. You can do it anywhere and any time, whether you’ve got the day to spare, on your way to work, on your lunch break or just looking out of a window. Look up and you will see.”
David Lindo, ‘The Urban Birder’, is a one-man ornithological phenomenon. He is a regular on TV and radio, has a flourishing website and blog plus writes for a host of magazines including BBC Wildlife, Bird Watching and the RSPB’s Birds, the latter of which has a readership in excess of 1 million people.
David’s new book, The Urban Birder, is published by New Holland Books. David will be signing copies after the walk. You can visit his website here.
