Crawley

Posted in Crap Towns Archive on 4 August 2005

As a Scot living South of the Border I found Crawley a great place.

Where else would you have such fine live entertainment on a Saturday in the middle of the town? Granted it was a load of coffin dodgers but hey it makes life entertaining especially when the local busker and band are fighting to be heard and if that doesn’t work they just have a fight.

As well as the live entertainment you have the obstacle course from Woolies to Primark avoiding bikes, skateboards and mobility vehicles.

If you don’t find all this fun you can always try to get through the level crossing first time. I can guarantee you that as soon as you reach the crossing the barrier will come down and you will be left there for 15 minutes while your mates in the pub at the other side have downed three pints by the time you get across.

Ah Crawley no place like it.
